We have been approved as a supplier under the G Cloud Framework
We are pleased to announce that we’ve been approved as a supplier to UK government bodies under the G-Cloud 11 framework! This is an important milestone for us; it demonstrates the quality of our product and acts as a confirmation of our strict standards on data security.
What is the G-Cloud Framework?
The G-Cloud framework is a series of agreements between the UK government and suppliers who provide cloud-based services. These suppliers agree to provide their cloud platform and infrastructure services that help buyers to deploy software and manage their available technological resources.
The G-Cloud framework was introduced many years ago by the UK government, and is now on its 11th iteration, with G-Cloud 11 being released in July of 2019. This newest update will come with the capabilities of providing cloud hosting, support, and software directing services for interested buyers of the product. The technology itself will still be built in-house by us, in accordance with G-Cloud framework requirements, to ensure an experience personalised to our consumers’ needs.
What this means for us
This, alongside our NHS Apps library accreditation, further emphasises our goal of upholding the highest standards of quality assurance and security within the healthcare industry. The G-Cloud 11 framework also eases the accessibility of our product by NHS organisations and CCGs in particular. It also guarantees complete transparency with patient relations regarding our app services.
This is a big milestone for us, and an achievement that has been years in the making. While we continually strive to improve and earn the trust of our partners across the country, we are happy to consider this accreditation a step in the right direction as a recognition for the focus we’ve always placed upon protecting data security and managing consumer relationships.
What this means for you
Our status now means that it will become easier for CCGs to procure Healthera services and, in doing so, support POD schemes nationwide. CCGs will further be able to improve the efficiency of prescription order processing and move towards an efficient, digital platform at their POD centres.
The industry has also become a buyer’s market in which the supply of technology platforms is made far more accessible and easily-distributed. Now, your local NHS services and GP surgery will be able to search for IT suppliers through the use of this platform; thus, Healthera services can more easily be integrated with your health providers at a local level.
