Delivery information

Postage and packing costs
All orders placed on the Alphega Pharmacy website are fulfilled by your chosen Alphega Pharmacy and each pharmacy will set their own postage and packaging (P&P) costs. When you place an order you will have the option to choose what method of delivery you would like and what that will cost. For more information on the charges for P&P please contact your chosen pharmacy and they will be able to help.

Please note that some pharmacies may not offer delivery at all (only Click and Collect).

Click & Collect
Alphega Pharmacies do not charge for Click and Collect orders.
Pharmacy Medicines delivery
Pharmacy medicines ordered for delivery will need to be received in person by someone aged over 18. Please liaise directly with your chosen pharmacy to confirm when the delivery is due to take place so you can make sure there is someone available to receive it.

Unfortunately, Alphega Pharmacies cannot leave your order in a safe place or with a neighbour.

A pharmacy medicine (P) is a medicine that can only be bought from pharmacies and under a pharmacist’s supervision. For more information please click here.

Delivery

Orders are fulfilled by your chosen Alphega Pharmacy who endeavour to pack and post your order within three working days (excluding next day delivery orders).

Please note: Delivery timescales are estimates and can be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.

If you do not receive your order within 10 days of placing it then please contact your chosen pharmacy to investigate.

Returns policy

Alphega Pharmacy hope that your orders are received satisfactory but if for some reason they are not you will need to speak directly to your chosen pharmacy to understand their returns policy. You can find contact details for your chosen pharmacy in your Profile or by searching for your pharmacy by using the Store Locator.

We expect all our pharmacies to respond accordingly and follow the guidelines set out in the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations.

Please note that you cannot return medicines (including prescription medicines or anything that has a hygiene seal that has been broken). You have the right to inspect your items as you would in the pharmacy, but you cannot return items that you have used (unless you are returning them because they are damaged or faulty).

How to return items
Contact your chosen Alphega Pharmacy and ask how you can return items. You may be able to return by post of return directly to the store. You can find contact details for your chosen pharmacy in your Profile or by searching for your pharmacy by using the Store Locator.
Damaged and faulty items
If you receive a product that is damaged or faulty you will need to get in touch with your chosen Alphega Pharmacy to discuss returning the item. You can find contact details for your chosen pharmacy in your Profile or by searching for your pharmacy by using the Store Locator.

We expect all our pharmacies to responsd accordingly and adhere to the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Refunds
If your chosen pharmacy has agreed to refund you for a faulty or unwanted product you will be processed once the Alphega Pharmacy has receive the returned items. Refunds are credited to the original card and can take up to 7 days to appear back in your account.

Policies for refunds for postage differ at each of our pharmacies and you must speak to your chosen pharmacy to understand what their policy is.

Liability
Liability for failure to fulfil an order will lie with each individual pharmacy and will differ depending on the terms and conditions of sale. For more information on this please contact your chosen pharmacy directly to understand their terms and conditions of sale.
