High blood pressure (hypertension) affects 1 in 3 adults in the UK. If left untreated it can cause heart problems, strokes and damage to vital organs. Therefore, it’s crucial to be aware of the risks and how you can reduce them. That’s where we can help, why not visit us and have one of our trained pharmacy staff members check your blood pressure for free.

This service is for confidential advice and for the provision of Emergency Hormonal Contraception.

All of our pharmacists are trained to be able to provide emergency contraception (the morning after pill). This is now a FREE of charge NHS service for all those living in Staffordshire.

- Strictly confidential in our private consultation room 
- All patients requiring treatment must be present in the pharmacy.
- We also provide an optional Chlamydia screening service in conjunction with this to help prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.

Erectile dysfunction is the inability to get or keep an erection. It is often referred to as impotence and is a very common problem. Contact us for our confidential service where our specially trained pharmacist will carry out a consultation.

Erectile Dysfunction a a condition that can be embarrassing for all men. Our ED service is run through our private consultation room out of sight and sound of other customers in the pharmacy. It can provide prescription strength medication to treat erectile dysfunction at very competitive prices.

During a confidential chat with the pharmacist an assessment questionnaire is filled out to help determine your suitability for the service. Following a blood pressure check, the pharmacist will go through the treatment choices, to ensure you try the most effective one for you.

Once signed up you receive a card, valid for a year, to enable repeat supplies – just hand the card in at the counter for a discreet repeat request.

Seasonal Influenza (Flu) vaccination is available every year to help protect both adults and children at risk of flu and its complications.

We offer a free NHS flu vaccation service for all NHS target grous over the age of 18. All that is required is for you to fill out a form which our counter staff will help you with if needed. 

If you are not covered by the NHS, you can still get a private flu jab from us for just £10.00

No appointment is required just come in from the 1st of October and ask for your vaccination.

Impetigo is a highly infectious bacterial skin infection. It causes yellow crusted sores, most commonly on the face.

We can supply antibiotics as either a cream, capsules or liquid to treat the infection.

This is an in-pharmacy service with rapid treatment possible. No need to queue at the doctors for an appointment. All patients requiring treatment must be present in the pharmacy.

Only available to patients whose GPs are in Staffordshire.

Impetigo Is Very Infectious
As impetigo is a highly contagious condition, it is very important to take hygiene precautions to stop the infection spreading to other people.

Medicine use reviews are a part of the Advanced Services of the community pharmacy contract. This will involve the pharmacist conducting a structured review with the patient about their medicine use. The aims of this service are to improve patients’ knowledge, concordance and use of medicines.

A Medicines Use Review is a private one to one chat with your pharmacist to focus on how you are getting on with your medicines.
It can take place in the pharmacy or if housebound by appointment at home. The way in which you take your medication can have a huge impact on how effective they are and the amount they impact on your life in both a positive and negative way, with a Medicines Check we will ensure that you are getting the most from your medicine! It is an NHS service – which makes it totally FREE to you!

We can supply medication in blister packs for certain patients at the doctors request. These trays have are organised by time and day to help patients remember to take their medication. We usually supply these by a weekly delivery and we can deliver other items at the same time if needed. 

We have a dedicated member of staff for these types of prescriptions to ensure that everything works without an hassle for the patient. For more information call and speak to a member of staff.

These are not suitable for all medicines or for all patients. They are strictly at the doctors request as the doctors have to issue specific prescriptions for them.




Unsure about your new medicine? Our NHS funded new medication service may be able to help.

This involves a brief initial discussion with the pharmacist about what to expect from the medication and what its designed to do, then one to two weeks later a follow up call is made to make sure things are going as planned.

This call is aimed at answering any questions about the medication such as; why am I taking it, is this a side effect, when can I expect it to start working?

If there are any problems the pharmacist can either sort them out or advise you on how to do so. If required a further phone call may be made or an appointment given for a chat in the pharmacy.

Providing support for patients diagnosed with a long term condition who have a newly prescribed medicine. To help improve your adherence and your understanding of the medicine generally leading to better health outcomes.

Pharmacy First is an NHS service that encourages patients to visit their local pharmacy first instead of going to their GP for a range of conditions which can be assessed and treated by pharmacists.

The conditions that are covered and the eligible patients can access free advice and treatment for includes (but is not limited to): Urinary Tract Infection - for women age 16 to under 65 years), Impetigo and Infected nappy rash.

Medicines Cannot Be Reused! Patients waste the NHS millions of pounds every year on unused medications – if you don’t need it tell us before you leave the pharmacy

Never throw unused or expired medicines in the rubbish bin or flush them down the toilet. Medicines that have been flushed down a toilet could end up in the drinking water system or harm the environment. Take unwanted medicines to a pharmacy, where they can be disposed of safely
