High blood pressure (hypertension) affects 1 in 3 adults in the UK. If left untreated it can cause heart problems, strokes and damage to vital organs. Therefore, it’s crucial to be aware of the risks and how you can reduce them. That’s where we can help, why not visit us and have one of our trained pharmacy staff members check your blood pressure for free.

This private (paid for) service is provided by our pharmacist. A small blood sample is taken and sent away to our partnering lab for results, so if you are worried about any of the following health conditions - cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid, heart, kidney, or liver we can take a small blood sample to check your levels. The lab can also check your vitamin levels, sports fitness levels and do a general well woman/man service and many more.
Cost will be dependent on the test that is completed and start at £50:00.

NHS COVID-19 SPRING VACCINATION CAMPAIGN
Starts 22 April 2024 and ends 30 June 2024
The vaccine should be given on the NHS to adults aged 75 years and over, care home residents and anyone aged six months or over who is immunosuppressed.
You can walk-in or book an allocated timeslot that fits into your day, via NHS booking website or our App and Website.
We also offer a private service to those who are not eligible on the NHS, please contact Pharmacy for information and cost.

This service is for confidential advice and for the provision of Emergency Hormonal Contraception.

Erectile dysfunction is the inability to get or keep an erection. It is often referred to as impotence and is a very common problem. Contact us for our confidential service where our specially trained pharmacist will carry out a consultation.

Seasonal Influenza (Flu) vaccination is available every year to help protect both adults and children at risk of flu and its complications. This service is available from September to end of March the following year.

Private Seasonal Influenza (Flu) vaccination is available every year to help protect those who are not eligible for the service through the NHS 

Pharmacy First allows patients to access FREE advice and / or treatment for Impetigo for any patient over the age of 2.

Pharmacy First is an NHS service that encourages patients to visit their local pharmacy first instead of going to their GP for a range of conditions which can be assessed and treated by pharmacists. The conditions that are covered and the eligible patients that can access free advice and treatment for includes (but is not limited to): Urinary Tract Infection - for women age 16 to under 65 years), Acute Sore Throat - for adults and children aged 5 and over, Acute Otitis Media (Ear Infection) - for children aged 1 to 17 years, Shingles - for adults 18 years and over, Impetigo - for adults and children aged 1 year and over, Infected Insect Bites - for adults and children aged 1 year and over and Acute Sinusitis - for adults and children aged 12 years and over. Please speak to our Pharmacist.

We offer a free Prescription Delivery Service to Local Areas. Please contact the Pharmacy for further information and to set this up.

Pharmacy First allows FREE advice/treatment for the management of Shingles in patients aged 18 or over by one of our trained pharmacists.
