This service is for confidential advice and for the provision of Emergency Hormonal Contraception.

This is an  Local Authority/NHS funded service making emergency hormonal contraception (morning after pill) available  for FREE to those who have had unprotected intercourse within 72 hours.  You will receive a short and private consultation with one of our specially trained Pharmacists in our consultation room.  We ask that you do not bring more than ONE other person to the consultation, and we can also offer a chaperone if required. 

Many people are not taking prescribed medicines correctly and could be putting their health at risk without even realising it. Our FREE (NHS funded) Medicines Check Up Service involves a Private consultation with our Pharmacist to help you understand whether you are taking your medicines properly.

The minor ailment scheme is designed to enable people with minor health conditions to access medicines and advice they would otherwise visit their doctor for. If you are exempt from paying prescription charges –  under 16 or over 60, for example, or they have a prescription prepayment certificate (PPC) – you don't have to pay for the medicine. Pharmacy First is an NHS service that encourages patients to visit their local pharmacy first instead of going to their GP for a range of conditions which can be assessed and treated by pharmacists.

The conditions that are covered and the eligible patients can access free advice and treatment for includes (but is not limited to): Urinary Tract Infection - for women age 16 to under 65 years), Impetigo and Infected nappy rash.

We offer FREE (NHS funded) HIV screening service, giving you a result in approximately 15 minutes.  This is done by a trained Pharmacist, and can give you piece of mind.

Smoking Cessation enables you to gain advice on the correct use of Nicotine Replacement Therapy and provides behavioural support to help you give up smoking.
