As tradition we are once again offering the seasonal flu jab in our pharmacy. Although you don’t need to book an appointment, in order to make the process faster and swifter you can book an appointment in a day and at time that suits you. For those over 65, people with a medical condition or pregnant women, catching flu can be more serious and that’s why they are offered a FREE NHS funded flu vaccine. However, if you're not eligible for it, you can still get yourself protected as part of our private service.

The chickenpox (varicella) vaccine is a series of two shots that can protect nearly everyone from contracting chickenpox. The first should be given at the age of 12-18 months and the second shot should be given between 4-6 years of age. Older children and adults should have two shots as well, with the second shot occurring at least 28 days after the first.

Do you have problems with excess ear wax, an ear wax build up or blockage? Ear blockages can be painful, uncomfortable and even make it hard to hear. Typically, the main causes of ear blockages is the build up of ear wax. Ear wax is perfectly natural, but it is often uncomfortable and even painful when impacted. If this does happen, there are several over the counter products designed to help soften ear wax and are often successful, however, for the times that the products don’t clear the problem, opt for our professional Ear Wax Removal Service.

The micro-suction technique uses gentle suction to clean the ear and is much safer and more comfortable than all other forms of ear cleaning, including syringing and irrigation. A small, thin probe is directed at the ear wax and/or infection discharge in the ear canal and gentle suction is applied to remove the blockage.
