The NHS Health Check is a free check-up of your overall health. It can help determine whether you're at higher risk of getting certain health problems, such as:

heart disease
kidney disease
stroke

It takes about 20-30 minutes.

You will be asked some simple questions about your lifestyle and family history, your
 height, weight and blood pressure will be measured and a blood sample will be taken, using a small finger prick test, for on the day cholesterol results.
