Therefore, it’s crucial to be aware of the risks and how you can reduce them. That’s where we can help, why not visit us and have one of our trained pharmacy staff members check your blood pressure for free.

Instead of booking and waiting for a GP appointment you can visit your local pharmacist. We can help you with many common health complaints, we can give advice or where appropriate we can offer medicines that will help clear up the problem (we will advise you to see your GP if we feel that is needed.)

Pharmacy First is an NHS service that encourages patients to visit their local pharmacy first instead of going to their GP for a range of conditions which can be assessed and treated by pharmacists.

We have a 24 hour blood pressure monitor. For use in patients who have had a regular BP check and results are slightly high. Most accurate means of measurement. We can then liaise with GP surgery to discuss best options going forward.

EPS makes it possible for your prescriptions to be sent electronically to the pharmacy or dispenser of your choice. Choosing a pharmacy or dispensing appliance contractor to process your EPS prescription is called nomination.
