- Anthony R.in 10 months of using the app it has only gone smoothly on 2 occasions. it has taken 2-3 weeks to process all the other prescriptions. Medicines requested, email confirmation received of the order then I have had to make numerous phone calls to chase the prescription. GP'S haven't received a request or the chemist haven't received it from the GP. However it transpired that the dispenser wasn't processing the system correctly due to apparent lack of training. The last 3 times I have phoned the chemist to find it has been ready and was awaiting collection but I had not been informed of any stage of the process via the app so wasting mine and the GP's time. While it was at the chemist awaiting collection I was also sent reminders to order as it advised that my supply was running low! I have tried to raise these issues but a contact number on your website (which has been there for some time) advises that you can only discuss via "live online chat" which is of little use to anyone with limited typing skills or perhaps older people. The branch involved only repeated that they had problems in the shop and suggested that it may be better to go back to paper prescriptions, hardly a ringing endorsement of your app. A phone call to discuss the above issues would be appreciated.
