Contraceptive advice including the morning after pill.
This service is for confidential advice and for the provision of Emergency Hormonal Contraception.

Birchill & Watson Pharmacy offers a confidential emergency contraceptive service. You can obtain the ‘morning after pill’ without seeking a Doctors consultation. 
Speak to our Pharmacist for more information. 

No Appointment necessary, but you may wish to call first to confirm there is a trained Pharmacist available. 

Seasonal Influenza (Flu) vaccination is available every year to help protect both adults and children at risk of flu and its complications.

Both NHS and Private Flu vaccinations are available from Birchill & Watson Pharmacy between September & March. Appointments aren't necessary, but it's advisable to phone first to make sure that a Pharmacist trained in administering vaccinations is on duty or for more information.

Medicine use reviews are a part of the Advanced Services of the community pharmacy contract. This will involve the pharmacist conducting a structured review with the patient about their medicine use. The aims of this service are to improve patients’ knowledge, concordance and use of medicines.

At Birchill & Watson High St Pharmacy we offer a Medicine Use Review service which provides you with the best possible advice and how to get the most from each medicine you take. Ask a member of the team for more information.

At Birchill & Watson Pharmacy we offer an NHS New Medicine Service service which helps helps you understand your condition, provides you with the best possible advice and how to get the most from each medicine you take. If you have a new Medicine we will offer this service if suitable. 

Please inquire in store for more information or if using the calendar to book a delivery slot, we will attempt to delivery your prescription as near to the requested time as possible, although this may not always be possible.

Birchill and Watson Pharmacy offer a Free Delivery Service to their patients that live locally. Unfortunately we do not offer delivery outside of Stone.

The Repeat Prescription Service takes the hassle out of ordering the prescription directly from the GP by contacting us and we can do it for you, as long as you are currently one of our patients. You can do this by ordering through the app or calling us to order your items.

If you are planning on travelling outside of the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world. Please contact us to confirm your specific needs.
