Seasonal Influenza (Flu) vaccination is available every year to help protect both adults and children at risk of flu and its complications.

This year the flu vaccine is being offered on the NHS to:
Frontline health and social care workers
Children aged 2 to 11 years old
Pregnant women
Members of a shielding household
Adults aged 65 and older
People receiving a carer’s allowance, or the main carer for an elderly or disabled Person whose welfare may be at risk if their carer falls ill
It is also being offered to those with the following long-term health conditions:
A heart problem
Bronchitis, emphysema or severe asthma
Kidney disease
Lowered immunity due to disease or treatment, such as steroid medication or Cancer treatment
Liver disease
History of stroke or a transient ischaemic attack
Diabetes
A neurological condition (multiple sclerosis or cerebral palsy)
A learning disability
Being seriously overweight (BMI of 40 and above)

Pharmacy First allows patients to access FREE advice and / or treatment for Impetigo for any patient over the age of 2.

1. Sinusitis – for children and adults aged 12 years and over;

2. Sore throat – for children and adults aged 5 years and over;



Pharmacy First allows FREE advice/treatment for the management of Shingles in patients aged 18 or over by one of our trained pharmacists.

for the provision of advice for infected insect bites ,for children and adults aged 1 year and over

Pharmacy First allows patients to access FREE advice and / or treatment for uncomplicated Urinary Tract Infection in women aged between 18 and 65.
