Seasonal Influenza (Flu) vaccination is available every year to help protect both adults and children at risk of flu and its complications.

Pharmacy First is an NHS service that encourages patients to visit their local pharmacy first instead of going to their GP for a range of conditions which can be assessed and treated by pharmacists.

The conditions that are covered and the eligible patients can access free advice and treatment for includes (but is not limited to): Urinary Tract Infection - for women age 16 to under 65 years), Impetigo and Infected nappy rash.

This private (paid for) service is provided by our trained staff. The small venous or capillary blood sample is sent away to our partnering lab for results, so if you are worried about any of the following health conditions - cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid, or heart we can help you to check. Do you have problems with excess ear wax, an ear wax build up or blockage? Ear blockages can be painful, uncomfortable and even make it hard to hear. Typically, the main causes of ear blockages is the build up of ear wax. Ear wax is perfectly natural, but it is often uncomfortable and even painful when impacted. If this does happen, there are several over the counter products designed to help soften ear wax and are often successful, however, for the times that the products don’t clear the problem, opt for our professional Ear Wax Removal Service. This is a private service and will be payable in branch at your appointment. The price of removing ear wax from one or both ears is £50.

The Gluten Free Food Service allows patients to self-manage their gluten free prescriptions with the assistance of their community pharmacy. Patients eligible for the service will be identified by their GP and referred to their pharmacy for care.

Pharmacy First allows patients to access FREE advice and / or treatment for Impetigo for any patient over the age of 2.

This is an NHS Scotland service to support patients taking long term medicines. In the first instance patients need to register with their local pharmacy and in the future their GP may issue a serial prescription for up to 12 months cutting the need to order your prescriptions routinely.

We are able to prepare compliance aids for patients following discussion with your GP and a requirement for need. If you or a family member need a compliance aid please contact the pharmacy by telephone.

Smoking Cessation enables you to gain advice on the correct use of Nicotine Replacement Therapy and provides behavioural support to help you give up smoking.
