Pharmacy First is an NHS service that encourages patients to visit their local pharmacy first instead of going to their GP for a range of conditions which can be assessed and treated by pharmacists.

The conditions that are covered and the eligible patients can access free advice and treatment for includes (but is not limited to): Urinary Tract Infection - for women age 16 to under 65 years), Impetigo and Infected nappy rash.

The Pharmacy First Service allows our highly trained team to provide you with advice and prescribe free of charge a range of products to treat minor conditions without the need to wait for a GP appointment.

Contraceptive advice including the morning after pill.
This service is for confidential advice and for the provision of Emergency Hormonal Contraception.

Supply of Emergency Contraception our Pharmacist is always on hand to assist with requests for emergency contraception which we can supply free of charge. No appointment necessary just walk in and ask for our Pharmacist.

The Gluten Free Food Service allows patients to self-manage their gluten free prescriptions with the assistance of their community pharmacy. Patients eligible for the service will be identified by their GP and referred to their pharmacy for care.

Patients diagnosed by their GP as having coeliac disease (or dermatitis
herpetitformis) and are eligible for GFF items under the service. Orders are placed and supplied direct from Pharmacy. Our Pharmacist will carry out an annual health check and is always available for advice.

Impetigo is a skin condition which untreated can quickly spread - if you think you may have this condition please speak to our Pharmacist who can supply treatment where appropriate. No appointment necessary just walk in and ask for our Pharmacist.

Smoking Cessation enables you to gain advice on the correct use of Nicotine Replacement Therapy and provides behavioural support to help you give up smoking.

One to One support with free supply of appropriate medication including Champix (varenicline) or Nicotine Replacement Therapy

We can assist with treatment and advice for a UTI please discuss your symptoms with our Pharmacist. No appointment necessary just walk in and ask for our Pharmacist.
