Providing Private Flu Vaccination for eligible patients. Booking times are restricted to between 10am -11am (last morning slot is 10.45am) and 3pm - 4pm (last afternoon slot is 3.45pm) Monday - Friday. Seasonal Flu vaccination is available every year to help protect both adults and children at risk of flu and its complications. Private vaccination costs £18.

The chickenpox (varicella) vaccine is a series of two shots that can protect nearly everyone from contracting chickenpox. The first should be given at the age of 12-18 months and the second shot should be given between 4-6 years of age. Older children and adults should have two shots as well, with the second shot occurring at least 28 days after the first.

Our free DOSETTE Service is an easy way of helping you, or someone you care for, organise and take medicines at the right time every day, by pre-packing your medication into our specially designed blister pack. The Gluten Free Food Service allows patients to self-manage their gluten free prescriptions with the assistance of their community pharmacy. Patients eligible for the service will be identified by their GP and referred to their pharmacy for care.

Patients over the age of 2 can be treated with prescription strength antibiotic cream for Impetigo under this service.

Pharmacy First is an NHS service that encourages patients to visit their local pharmacy first instead of going to their GP for a range of conditions which can be assessed and treated by pharmacists.

The conditions that are covered and the eligible patients can access free advice and treatment for includes (but is not limited to): Urinary Tract Infection - for women age 16 to under 65 years), Impetigo and Infected nappy rash.

Pharmacy First is an NHS service that encourages patients to visit their Pharmacy for treatment or advice on common conditions before contacting their GP surgery. It is available for ANY patient registered with a GP in Scotland and can result in the pharmacy team prescribing treatment on the NHS or advising on self care. Conditions treated include: Skin conditions, Joint & Muscle Pain,  Stomach/Digestive problems, Cough, Ear Nose & Throat problems, Thrush and many other common conditions. 

Pharmacy First allows FREE advice/treatment for the management of Shingles in patients aged 18 or over by one of our trained pharmacists.

Pharmacy first allows FREE access to advice/treatment to the management of skin infections in patients over the age of 18 by one of our trained pharmacists.

Smoking Cessation enables you to gain advice on the correct use of Nicotine Replacement Therapy and provides behavioural support to help you give up smoking.

Our Smoking Cessation service provides you with FREE Nicotine Replacement Therapies (NRT) or Champix (where eligible) as well as behavioural support to help you successfully quit smoking. Please call into the pharmacy to find out more.
