We deliver an integrated weight management service to improve a patient's health and quality of life. The service provides psychological support and makes behavioral interventions, as well as interventions to increase physical activity and improve diet.

Saxenda® is a prescription weight loss treatment that contains the active substance Liraglutide and is designed to help users lose weight.. It works  by acting on receptors in the brain that control your appetite, causing you to feel fuller and less hungry. This may help you eat less food and in turn help you lose weight. Saxenda® should be used in addition to diet and exercise in adults aged 18 and above who :
1. have a BMI of 30 or greater (obese) 
OR
2. a BMI of 27 and less than 30 (overweight) and weight-related health problems (such as diabetes, high blood pressure, abnormal levels of fats in the blood or breathing problems during sleep called ‘obstructive sleep apnoea’)

If you feel you struggle to remember to take your medication or struggle to remember what dose to take at what time, speak to our experienced team who can discuss and assess your individual needs and make recommendations to support you, which may include the provision of a weekly medication tray.

This service is for confidential advice and for the provision of Emergency Hormonal Contraception.

Emergency contraception can prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or if the contraception you have used has failed.
