Altitude sickness (also known as AMS) is a condition that occurs in high altitudes from 2500 metres (8200 ft) above sea level, where the body has difficulty adjusting to lower oxygen pressure and symptoms such as a headaches and dizziness result. If you are travelling to a high altitude destination or are prone to altitude sickness, then it’s important to take the right precautions before you travel.
