Protect yourself against Japanese Encephalitis (JE) before you travel with our private vaccination service.
Japanese Encephalitis is a mosquito-borne viral infection found in parts of Asia and the Western Pacific. Although the risk to most travellers is low, the disease can be serious when it occurs. Vaccination is recommended for travellers whose itinerary or activities place them at increased risk of exposure.
Our private Japanese Encephalitis Vaccination service helps reduce your risk of infection and is commonly recommended for travellers spending extended periods in affected areas or travelling to rural locations where mosquito exposure is more likely.
Before vaccination, one of our healthcare professionals will assess your travel plans, medical history and individual circumstances to determine whether the vaccine is suitable for you.

Your healthcare professional will advise which schedule is appropriate based on your travel plans.
A booster dose may be recommended if you remain at ongoing risk of exposure or are travelling again in the future. Your healthcare professional will discuss this with you based on your individual circumstances.
For the best protection, we recommend arranging your vaccination well in advance of your departure date whenever possible.
