When you first open the app, you’ll be invited to calculate your BMI by inputting your height, weight and age. This will help the NHS decide what your daily calorie intake range should be, and how much weight you should plan to lose over the 12-week plan.
You’ll be able to choose a goal to set within that range, so if you’re hoping to lose as much weight as possible, you’ll be able to choose the least calories the app suggests – while still being a healthy, achievable amount for you to consume.
