Dalneigh Pharmacy opened its doors in September 2016 and joined Healthera in April 2020. These include the treatment of minor ailments, management of your medicines and a repeat prescription delivery service.

Healthera: Why did you join Healthera?
James: To offer a new way for people to contact us and order 24/7
Healthera: How did you find the onboarding process?
James: Very easy!
Healthera: What changes have you seen since joining?
James: The proportion of patients getting texts and app alerts to know when their prescription is ready has increased. This has reduced the number of people turning up ‘in case it’s ready’.
Healthera: What would you consider the main benefit of being part of Healthera?
James: Communication and customer satisfaction
Healthera: How have your patients adapted to Healthera?
James: If there has been an issue or a patient is struggling to order, or calling for an order, we present the app as a solution to their problems and then also explore what more the app can offer them beyond their original problem.
Healthera: How do you interact with your patients through Healthera? Do you use calls? Or is it mainly done through the in-app messenger?
James: Almost entirely through in-app messages.
Healthera: What’s the main way you invite patients?
James: We use flyers we had made, and encourage people through discussion at the counter. We’ve also used stickers and Facebook.
Healthera: How has COVID-19 affected your business?
James: We are busier in some respects and are also having to accommodate for the vulnerable, shielders and those who are more reticent about visiting the premises.
