Technology updates released by our Healthera technical team are not only aimed at improving user experience for both pharmacies and patients, but also at ensuring that all information is kept safe and secure. We take data protection very seriously and have always ensured that your information is kept private, confidential and is GDPR compliant.
While we have achieved this consistently with the Healthera App and Healthera Connect systems, we continue to further develop our systems alongside technological advances.
Most recently, we implemented password complexity in both the sign up and password change process. The password strength now required will significantly decrease the chances of an account being hacked. The new password complexity is in line with the latest research dictating how long it would take for a password to be guessed – the aim is to increase the time frame from a few minutes to a number of years.
Another new security measure is the implementation of an SSL certificate to improve the encryption of data.
The next release will also involve a new flagging system to help improve communication between patients and pharmacies. Pharmacies will now be able to flag patient orders and provide specific information regarding the order status. This will then show up on the Healthera App for the patient to see.
