Today we’re delighted to announce that Superdrug Pharmacy has partnered with Healthera, rolling out its bespoke Superdrug pharmacy app powered by Healthera across its 200 pharmacy stores across the country.
Patients of Superdrug pharmacy are able to order their repeat prescriptions and track their medication digitally through the Superdrug Pharmacy app. They can also securely message their local Superdrug Pharmacy from within the app. It will be free to download from the App Store and Google Play.
Healthera is a Cambridge-based digital health company that develops an ecosystem of digital healthcare products that connects patients, community pharmacies, and the NHS. Superdrug pharmacy is one of the biggest UK healthcare retailers, operating 800 Superdrug branch stores, of which 200 are dispensing pharmacies. The brand also has ample experience providing online services to patients, such as Online Doctor and Online Pharmacy.
With this exciting new offering, Superdrug has become one of the first national pharmacy chains to have built a complete digital journey for their customers that is integrated into their brick and mortar stores, incorporating prescription, online doctors and retail, pushing the frontier for high street pharmacy.
Not only does this allow patients to have a seamless medication management and reordering experience, the app also provides a great opportunity for Superdrug pharmacists to create deeper connections with patients. We believe this will help them assist patients with their medication and provide key clinical services when they are needed.
Healthera has developed software platforms that have already been widely adopted by UK independent and chain pharmacies and received NHS backings through the NHS Apps Library.
