Pharmacy First is an NHS service that encourages patients to visit their local pharmacy first instead of going to their GP for a range of conditions which can be assessed and treated by pharmacists.

The conditions that are covered and the eligible patients can access free advice and treatment for includes (but is not limited to): Urinary Tract Infection - for women age 16 to under 65 years), Impetigo and Infected nappy rash.

Pharmacy First is an NHS service that encourages patients to visit their local pharmacy first for advice and treatment instead of going to their GP for a range of conditions:

- Aches & Pain (Back pain, Headache, Migaraine, Period pain, Teething, Toothache)
- Allergy (Bites & stings, Hayfever, Skin reaction)
- Colds & Flu (Cough, Congestion, Sore throat, Fever, Temperature)
- Ear care (Earache, Ear infection, Ear wax)
- Eye care (Conjunctivitis, Styes)
- Stomach & Bowel (Constipation, Diarrhoea, Indigestion, Piles, Threadworm)
- Head lice
- Mouth care (Cold sores, Oral thrush, Ulcers)
- Skin care (Athleets foot, Chickenpox, Dermatitis, Eczema, Fungal infection, Nappy rash, Pruritis, Scabies, Warts & verrucae)
- Vaginal Thrush

This service is funded by the NHS and you do not need to pay for the consultation and treatment.

FREE urinary tract infection service for women aged 16-64, which include testing your urine sample on site and supplying a course of antibiotic treatment if necessary.
