EPS makes it possible for your prescriptions to be sent electronically to the pharmacy or dispenser of your choice. Choosing a pharmacy or dispensing appliance contractor to process your EPS prescription is called nomination.

Pharmacy First is an NHS service that encourages patients to visit their local pharmacy first instead of going to their GP for a range of conditions which can be assessed and treated by pharmacists.

The conditions that are covered and the eligible patients can access free advice and treatment for includes (but is not limited to): Urinary Tract Infection - for women age 16 to under 65 years), Impetigo and Infected nappy rash.

Please inquire in store for more information or if using the calendar to book a delivery slot, we will attempt to delivery your prescription as near to the requested time as possible, although this may not always be possible.

How will the Repeat Prescription Service help me?
If you can’t get to us, we can deliver your medicines to you*. Just pop in to your local Alphega pharmacy, let us know that you’d like this service, and once we’ve received your prescription and dispensed your medicines, we’ll get them to you.

* Some pharmacies may charge for this service.
