Therefore, it’s crucial to be aware of the risks and how you can reduce them. That’s where we can help, why not visit us and have one of our trained pharmacy staff members check your blood pressure for free.
Patients eligible for this service:
• If you are aged 40 years or older and you do not currently have a diagnosis of hypertension

We provide FREE latex condoms!

Pop into the pharmacy,  and collect a mixture of latex only condoms for all age groups over 18. 

Should you be under 18 you will require a 5 minute consultation with the Pharmacist before we are able to supply FREE latex condoms. 

When male condoms are used correctly they are 98% effective at protecting against pregnancy, and they are the only method of contraception that helps to protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Do you have problems with excess ear wax, an ear wax build up or blockage? Ear blockages can be painful, uncomfortable and even make it hard to hear. Typically, the main causes of ear blockages is the build up of ear wax. Ear wax is perfectly natural, but it is often uncomfortable and even painful when impacted. If this does happen, there are several over the counter products designed to help soften ear wax and are often successful, however, for the times that the products don’t clear the problem, opt for our professional Ear Wax Removal Service.

Ear Microsuction is the safest and most effective way to remove earwax. 

Emergency contraception can stop you becoming pregnant if you’ve had sex without using contraception, or if you think your contraception might have failed.

There are two types of emergency contraceptive pill:
Levonorgestrel, which must be taken within three days (72 hours) of having unprotected sex
EllaOne, which must be taken within five days (120 hours) of unprotected sex

The Pharmacist will make a decision as to which type of oral emergency contraception would be clinically appropriate.

You can also order the morning after pill for future use, so you can have it on hand just in case you need it.

The service provides support for people with long-term conditions newly prescribed a medicine to help improve medicines adherence; it is focused on specific patient groups and conditions

If you want to be period-free for a big event or holiday we can prescribe tablets. The tablets contain a synthetic version of the hormone progesterone. Periods are triggered every month by a drop in progesterone levels. By keeping your hormone level high, you can delay your period for up to 17 days. If treatment is appropriate for you, we can prescribe tablets.
No charge if we can't help. You only pay for the tablets.

Norethisterione 5mg tablets contain progesterone which can delay your period for up to:-

17 days (60 tablets) £26.50
27 days (90 tablets) £37.50

Smoking Cessation enables you to gain advice on the correct use of Nicotine Replacement Therapy and provides behavioural support to help you give up smoking.

Please note: if you pay for your prescriptions this service is a one-off prescription charge for a 12 week programme. If you get your prescriptions free you will need to bring in evidence of your exemption to be eligble for the free 12 week programme.
