Last week, on June 26-27, we exhibited at the Health Plus Care Show. People from all sectors of health in the United Kingdom came together to share insight from their industries, exchange ideas about the shifting landscape of the NHS, and look for new and innovative ways to collaborate.
The Show
First and foremost, we’d like to give a big shout-out to the organisers, The Healthcare Show, for putting together such a fantastic event. There were over 6,000 attendees throughout the two days, including 400 speakers and experts in their field, who delivered their own industry-relevant insights in Health, Care, and Digital Health. We were really impressed by the diverse set of talents and perspectives that were present at the event, and we were inspired by some of the great work we saw in action, and by the ideas and input we received about our services in the future of healthcare.
The Highlights from the Show
We were particularly impressed by the hundreds of keynote speeches that went on throughout the event, especially the insight of NHS officials and workers who talked about the transforming NHS and how digital health played a future in the NHS’ long-term plan. In this, we were shown a clearer picture of how NHSX fits into the digital healthcare aspect of the NHS’ planned future operations.
Who We Met
We are grateful for the opportunity to have met CCG representatives, NHS primary care providers and care home managers, and a variety of both pharmacy and GP delegates. From this show, we can see the importance of furthering our development and scope of the app, firstly to be able to fulfil the needs of people in all NHS-related industries, and further to provide the best and most comprehensive service possible to patients using the platform.
Through everything we learned and from all of the fantastic people we met at the Health Plus Care Show, we are motivated to continue working hard on our service, bringing community pharmacies and people together and empowering them with the ability to take health matters back into their own hands.
Another thank you goes out to The Healthcare Show for organising these great events, and we look forward to more opportunities to share and grow in the future!
