Superdrug App Support

Your NHS prescription medication made easy, with the new Superdrug Pharmacy App powered by Healthera and approved to provide NHS services.

Get connected with your local Superdrug Pharmacy, order NHS repeat prescriptions, manage medication reminders and book an NHS flu jab.   

The Superdrug Pharmacy App will remind you when to take your medication, when you need to refill your prescription and when your medication is ready to collect from your local store.

To order a repeat prescription just follow the below steps:

  • Head to the ‘Medicines’ tab located at the bottom of the app
  • Select the medicine(s) you would like to order
  • At the bottom of the page click ‘Request refill’
  • The app will then ask you to confirm the medicine you require, then select ‘Next’
  • You can then select ‘Collection’ or ‘Delivery’ depending on the service your pharmacy offers, then select ‘Next’
  • Select ‘Place an order’

Prescriptions will normally be ready to collect from your nominated pharmacy within 3 working days.

To add a dependent please follow the below steps:

  • Head to the ‘Profile’ tab located in the bottom right-hand corner within the app
  • Click on ‘+ Add a dependent’ and complete the dependent’s profile
  • Click ‘Next’
  • Next you will need to enter their personal details
  • Click ‘Next’
  • You will now be required to enter their GP surgery information (NHS number is not required)
  • Click ‘Next’
  • You will then be prompted to confirm that you have consent to order prescriptions on their behalf and that they will use the pharmacy you have nominated in the app
  • Once this is complete, select ‘Done’

Please note dependants will need to have the same nominated pharmacy in the app as the account holder. 

To amend your personal details in the profile section, please follow the quick and easy steps below:

  • Head to the ‘Me/We’ tab located in the bottom right-hand corner of the app to access your profile
  • Select ‘My Profile’
  • Select the field you would like to amend e.g. Date of birth
  • Once amended select ‘Done’
  • Select ‘Save’ located within the top right-hand corner of the screen to confirm

To remove a medicine from the app just follow the below steps:

  • Head to the ‘Medicines’ tab located at the bottom of the app
  • Select the medicine you would like to remove
  • Select the three dots in the top right-hand corner
  • Select ‘Delete medication’
  • A pop-up message will appear asking you to confirm if you would like to delete the medicine.

To turn off daily medication reminders please follow the quick and easy steps below:

  • Head to the ‘Me/We’ tab located in the bottom right-hand corner of the app
  • Scroll down to the bottom and select ‘Medicine notifications turned on’
  • A pop-up will appear confirming you would like to turn medicine notifications off
  • Select ‘Yes’
  • Please note, you will still receive notifications for appointments and messages from your pharmacy, along with refill order reminders. However, these can also be turned off if you’d prefer by following the below steps:
  • Just head to the ‘Medicines’ section within the app and select the medicine in question.
  • Toggle off the ‘Receive reminder to refill’ option

To turn on your medicine notification reminders please follow the below steps:

  • Head to the ‘Me/We’ tab located in the bottom right-hand corner of the app
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the app and select ‘Medicine notifications turned off’ (this will then turn medicine reminders on)

It may be the medicine reminder has expired and therefore needs to be updated. Please can we ask you to check the following:

  • Head into the ‘Medicines’ section within the app
  • Click into the medicine(s) in question
  • Check the ‘Date to run out’ field has the correct date

Please note that when you place a medicine order through the app it will prompt you to choose how many days you are ordering for. Once this has been selected, it will automatically update your medicine schedule.

You can book services in selected pharmacies via the app. In order to book a service with your pharmacy please follow the quick and easy steps below:

  • Click on the ‘Pharmacy tab’ located at the bottom of the app
  • Click on the ‘Services’ tab below the name of the pharmacy
  • Select the service you require
