We’re pleased to announce a new partnership between Healthera and eConsult. As the UK’s leading digital triage platform, eConsult handles over 1 million patient assessments each month and is trusted by more than 800 GP practices.
This collaboration marks a major step forward in expanding access to Pharmacy First, enabling patients to self-refer to local pharmacies for both in-person and video consultations – directly from eConsult’s digital triage flow.What does this mean for Healthera partner pharmacies?
- More appointments, no extra work: Patients using eConsult will now be signposted to Pharmacy First providers within the Healthera network, with no changes required to the current workflow.
- Same fair pricing: No charges apply for non-attended or declined bookings.
- Significant potential for growth: With eConsult’s scale, pharmacies already offering Pharmacy First could see an uptick in referrals as patient volumes are gradually directed to the network.
To support a smooth rollout, Healthera is working closely with pharmacies and eConsult to refine screening and referral outcomes from day one. Pharmacies will receive clear, timely guidance to help manage the new referral flow with confidence.
