Peak Pharmacy partnered with Healthera in 2021 to modernise patient access, streamline operations, and strengthen growth across the group.

Partnering with Healthera, they implemented their own Peak branded app, integrated service booking journeys into their website, and utilised Healthera’s all-one patient management platform, Healthera Connect, giving patients a fully branded digital experience while providing the group with unified operational control.

The Challenge

Managing digital services across dozens of branches created several barriers such as:

A unified digital experience across NHS prescriptions, NHS services, and private services has transformed how patients interact with Peak. Combined with automated reminders and messaging, this streamlined journey has strengthened patient trust and convenience, contributing to a patient retention rate of 95%.

By leveraging Healthera’s platform, applications, and wider network, Peak has seen significant growth in digital engagement. Service bookings increased sevenfold within a single year, while 12% of orders were referred directly through Healthera’s network. Online orders are now evenly split, with 50% coming from Peak’s own customers and 50% driven by Healthera and its referral partners, including MyGP.

Operationally, managers now have full visibility across service availability, referral sources, and branch-level performance, all within a single dashboard. This unified view enables clearer measurement of what matters most, allowing teams to benchmark performance against competitors and make informed improvements.

This success was underpinned by a strong strategic partnership. Peak worked closely with Healthera to influence product development, helping to design features tailored specifically for multi-branch pharmacy operations. This collaboration further enhanced both the patient experience and internal pharmacy workflows, aligning technology with long-term operational goals.
