HOW IT WORKS

How we protect and grow your revenue

Earn revenue even from services you don’t offer. 

When patients order or book something that isn’t supplied by their nominated pharmacy, you now earn a portion of the commissions. This ensures patients get the fullest experience possible without having to leave the app, and helps our pharmacy partners earn commissions from these activities.

Expanding the Network

Looking ahead, we’ll be adding more specialty clinics to our network, like dermatology and women’s health. This allows you to benefit from high-demand services that most pharmacies don’t offer.

Please note: NHS prescriptions are never part of this network. Your nominated patients will always order their prescriptions directly from you.

How You Earn with Our Network

BILLING MECHANISM

Orders being placed that qualify for Revenue Share Network are tagged at the point of fulfilment and tallied under the nominated pharmacy partner

We then generate a Credit Note with a full breakdown – which are emailed to the Account Holder at the end of each month.

The Credit Note is then automatically applied to your next invoice(s) – whether for your Healthera platform subscription or your own commissions.

DISCOVERY MECHANISM

Your patients stay within your relationship while accessing our full network capabilities. 

There are two main ways patients may receive access to products and services that are not fulfilled by your own pharmacy.

Our goal is to ensure your patients can always find the care they need. When they search for a service you don’t offer, we show them options from our trusted network. This keeps the patient with you and earns you revenue.

On the Healthera App

On the Healthera app, Services and OTC shops provided by their own pharmacy are always prioritised.

When patients search for services that their own pharmacy doesn’t offer, they are shown appointment slots from the network. This ensures maximal patient reach, and allows pharmacies from our network to work collectively to serve patient’s needs

If the patient’s own pharmacy does not sell OTC items, they will be shown an OTC shop that’s based on location, coverage, and other factors.

If the patient’s own pharmacy does not wish the fulfil for the private clinic offering, patients can still make a purchase

Importantly – none of these activities will change the patient’s nomination or default pharmacy on the Healthera app. Prescriptions are never included in the revenue share network.

As per our data policy, the fulfilling pharmacy does not gain access to the patient’s data beyond the legitimate purpose of fulfilling the specific order.

On my Healthera Smart Website or White Label app

Normally, Healthera smart websites and white label apps ONLY display the pharmacy’s own offerings – backup options by other pharmacies aren’t available.

However, patients can always use their account created on a smart website / white label app and login to Healthera.co.uk or happen to receive a referral from one of our partner channels like eConsult or myGP. Whilst this isn’t common – with Healthera being a growing solution, it does happen from time to time

Can I opt out (for my patients seeing other pharmacies’ offerings)

  • For core offerings like Services and OTC, which are so vital to the patient’s full experience using the Healthera app, we encourage our pharmacy partners to list as many of their offerings as possible, and be assured that increasing patient’s access will cause a gain in additional business (through Revenue Share Network) and through better patient satisfaction – which leads to long term custom.
  • For private clinic and the online doctor offering that is due to be released, if there is a strong and justified preference for the pharmacy to not show their nominated patient the offering,  please contact us at success@healthera.co.uk
  • On Healthera’s Smart Website and White Label app, the pharmacy has full control over all content and offerings shown.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When do I get paid?

  • After the end of each month (within the first 3 days into the next month), you receive a credit note which is automatically applied against your next bill. Under this mechanism, you don’t need to invoice us and make another reconciliation effort, which saves time and effort and ensures timely settlements.
  • Please note that if you account is in arrears, credits will be held until the account is brought current.
 

How do I track my earnings?

  • Your Revenue Share earnings are itemised in the report sent to you at the end of each month. 
  • We are soon introducing a dashboard on Healthera Connect which allows you to visualise these earnings, alongside all other interactions through Healthera’s platform  
 

What if I want to add these services myself?

  • You are always encouraged to list all your available clinical services, OTC shop, and fulfill private clinic offerings. For assistance with adding services, please contact us at success@healthera.co.uk
 

What happens to my existing patients?

  • Your nominated patients remain yours. Revenue Share Network only applies when they access services you don’t currently offer – you earn additional revenue while they stay in your ecosystem.
